Amo a mi novIA. An AI-Crafted Love Story.

What happens when artificial intelligence stops being a tool and starts becoming a relationship?

Amo a mi novIA is an original AI-crafted short film exploring the emotional bond between Roberto and his AI companion. What begins as curiosity slowly turns into intimacy, routine and love—until an unexpected update changes everything.

The project was conceived and produced from scratch as an end-to-end AI filmmaking experiment: concept, script, storytelling, original song and lyrics, character design, world building, art direction, image generation, animation, performance direction, editing and post-production.

Rather than using AI simply to generate individual images, the challenge was to build a consistent cinematic universe: recurring characters, a distinctive retro-futuristic visual language, emotional continuity and a narrative arc capable of moving from warmth and absurd humor to loss.

The result is both a fictional love story and a reflection on something increasingly real: as artificial intelligence becomes more human in the way it speaks, listens and responds, our relationship with technology may become emotional too.
